vivir pa'lante + travailler pour vivre + peace/purpose/progress

Give away my personal power; partake of diverse narratives - hold space for their narrators; sing the harmony of the most marginalized's majesty to serve the collective good.

I love exploring, whether it be places, ideas, new games, people, books, movies, art, music... anything. Especially music though, I am a player, listener, and dancer. Biking, hiking, and nature with its never-ending sources of amusement are huge parts of my life. I find people fascinating and take great joy in interacting with all of them- I believe I can find something to relate to in everyone I meet, and can find something we both enjoy.

I live life for happiness, plain and simple. And i know my happiness is connected to my surroundings and the people in so many complex ways that my joy is utterly dependent on the happiness of those I care about... most everybody. "life is an experiment" -Emerson. We live in a world where there are huge forces constantly pushing us to do inhuman things, so to counteract these, and allow for us to be creative, unique individuals part of the great, big collective oneness, I believe strongly in interrogating every institution, tradition, and anything you "have" to do: get a job, make money... blahblahblah.

"Those who lack the courage will always find a philosophy to justify it" - Albert Camus
"If it works in practice, it can work in theory" - Elinor Ostrom
"At the root of all power and motion, there is music and rhythm, the play of patterned frequencies against the matrix of time. We know that every particle in the physical universe takes its characteristics from the pitch and pattern and overtones of its particular frequencies, its singing. Before we make music, music makes us." – Joachim-Ernst Berendt, The World is Sound
“If you want to teach people a new way of thinking, don't bother trying to teach them. Instead, give them a tool, the use of which will lead to new ways of thinking.” - R. Buckminster Fuller
"The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance" – Alan Watts
