How can people experiencing emotional crisis access support on social media and avoid harmful interventions? The Icarus Project has fostered many online support communities. Join us as we examine ways to talk about depression and suicidal thoughts on social media, and consider potential impacts, like policing and hospitalization. Participants will leave with greater insights into the risks and considerations in navigating how we talk about crisis online.
