The Arab and Muslim community is one of most underrepresented communities in the U.S. Jack Shaheen, in his book Reel Bad Arabs, writes that “Arab stereotypes are deeply ingrained in American cinema.” In this session, activists, leaders, and media-personnel will discuss how they are changing the situation so that Arabs and Muslims can tell their own stories.
