Join youth leaders from TRUTH, a transgender and gender nonconforming youth movement-building and storytelling campaign, for a workshop on creating media to create change! This workshop will guide participants through TRUTH’s Storytelling Toolkit, which supports youth in sharing their stories effectively through different media platforms. Led by transgender and gender nonconforming youth, the space is open to all, but holds an emphasis on uplifting youth voices within the movement. Throughout the workshop, we will cover effective messaging, terminology, interview preparation, and media campaign organizing. We will also highlight nuances and tips around storytelling as a non-binary transgender youth. TRUTH is a collaboration between Gay-Straight Alliance Network and Transgender Law Center.
