Intersectional Justice in Media Reporting

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

How can we cultivate a culture of consent and transformative justice in reporting? How does media frame sexual violence against cis, queer and/or trans girls/women of color? Enlisting the Chicago Taskforce’s intersectional media guide, we will explore how the media reports on sexual violence (including at the hands of the state and police), the impact and dangers of this reporting, and what we can do to radically transform these representations.
